Albany Parking Authority to Present Final Albany Riverfront GarageFeasibility Study Findings

A public meeting has been announced to review final findings of a study of potential redevelopment options for the Riverfront Parking Garage and community members are encouraged to attend

Albany, NY– The Albany Parking Authority is holding a public meeting to review the final findings of the Downtown Albany’s Riverfront Parking Garage Feasibility Study. The meeting will take place June 6, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. on Zoom. Members of the community are encouraged to attend and submit questions for discussion.

During the meeting the Albany Parking Authority and BJH Advisors, the consultants who conducted the study, will review the ultimate results of the Albany’s Riverfront Garage Feasibility Study and its recommendations. A prior meeting was held in November 2022 to review the study’s goals and discuss the future possibility of this site with the public.

The feasibility study is a joint effort spearheaded by the Albany Parking Authority with the City of Albany and downtown Albany stakeholders that is paid for in part by grant from Empire State Development.

A recording of the meeting, Q&A, and the final report will be made available to view on the ParkAlbany website.
