RIVERFRONT, GREEN-HUDSON, AND QUACKENBUSH GARAGES

MONTHLY PARKING PROGRAM CUSTOMER RULES AND REGULATIONS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE:

  1. Your access card is valid during the standard garage hours of operation, including times when the garage is open for events. Riverfront and Quackenbush garages are open 24/7. Green-Hudson is accessible 24/7.
  2. No motorcycles are allowed in the garage.
  3. If your license plate is not on file and you do not have your access card, you must pull a ticket to enter the garage, and you will have to pay the posted non-refundable daily rate. No refunds will be given.
  4. Please park between the lines, not in driving lanes or “no parking” areas. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed.
  5. The use of a monthly parking access card is restricted to only one car in the garage at any one time. Never let anyone else use your card.
  6. You agree to inform the parking authority of any changes to the information provided by you in your application, including address, telephone number, and vehicle information.
  7. You agree that your monthly parking payment will be processed on the 25TH of the prior month via our automatic credit card payment system. Your parking agreement may only be terminated upon written notice prior of automatic payment day. By way of example, you must inform the parking authority by july 23RD that you want to terminate the agreement effective august 1ST.
  8. It is important to keep your parking credentials safe. If an AVI Tag and/or Proximity Card is lost, stolen or damaged, it must be reported immediately. AVI Tags and/or Proximity Cards can be replaced for a $20.00 non-refundable fee.
  9. A fee of $20.00 will be charged for any checks returned from the bank unpaid.
  10. Collection of expenses: you agree to pay all costs, including attorney fees, incurred by the parking authority and all entities providing the parking authority services to collect any monies due under the terms of this agreement.
  11. Disclaimer: remember to turn off your lights, lock your car, and take your keys. Only a license to park is granted and no bailment is created. This license limits the liability of the parking authority, which is not responsible for fire, theft, damage to or loss of vehicle or its contents. This license allows the parking of one vehicle in the garage at the owner’s risk. Rules and rates subject to change with thirty (30) days’ notice.

LOT PERMIT PARKING RULES AND REGULATIONS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

  1. Permit must be clearly displayed on the rearview mirror with the permit number visible and facing the windshield. Vehicles that do not clearly display a valid parking permit will be subject to ticket and/or tow as well as other legal sanctions.
  2. The sale of this permit does not, at any time, guarantee the holder an available parking space.
  3. Snow removal & other restrictions – parking may be restricted for priority snow removal or other special needs. When these circumstances exist, temporary signs will be posted.
  4. No refunds shall be issued for days when space is not available or days when the permit is not used.
  5. Report lost or stolen permits immediately to the Albany Parking Authority at (518) 434-8886. Replacements will be issued for a fee.
  6. Customers are subject to the terms and conditions displayed on all signs in the parking facility. Customers must obey all traffic signs, rules, and regulations.
  7. Parking rates are subject to change without notice.
  8. Parking permit will be valid and commence from the first day of the month designated on the permit.
  9. All spaces are unreserved.
  10. Parking charge is for use of parking space only. Parking is limited to legal spaces in the lot(s) that correspond to the permit designation. Vehicles parked within the parking lot must be parked in such a manner that they do not interfere with any other vehicles or occupy more than a single parking space. Illegally parked vehicles are subject to fines, revocation of parking permit and/or being towed or booted.
  11. Creating copies of hang tags or allowing use of hang tags by anyone other than permit holder of record is prohibited. Parking permits are non-transferable and only valid for the vehicle (s) registered to that specific permit. If it is determined that a parking permit is not being used by the holder of record, the permit will be canceled, and a refund shall not be issued.
  12. Vehicles may not be left unmoved in the lot for extended periods of time.
  13. Parking is at the vehicle owner’s risk. The Albany Parking Authority and its associated management team specifically disclaims any liability for damage or loss due to fire, theft, collision, vandalism, or otherwise to the vehicle and/or its contents, however caused.
  14. Permit holders are strictly prohibited from engaging in abusive, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate behavior within the parking facility.
  15. The Albany Parking Authority reserves the right to suspend/terminate/revoke parking permit privileges to those in violation of the above terms and conditions.

The permit remains the property of the Albany Parking Authority and use of the permit indicates acceptance of the terms & conditions. Misuse of the permit and/or violation of the terms and conditions will result in the permit being revoked.

Management specifically disclaims any liability for damage or loss due to fire, theft, collision, vandalism, or otherwise to the vehicle and its contents, however caused.
