Snow Emergency: Free Parking at Quackenbush Garage for Zone C Residential Parking Permit Holders

A Snow Emergency has been declared in the City of Albany, NY and will be in effect beginning Friday morning, December 18th, at 8:00am.

For City of Albany residents with a Zone C Residential Parking Permit, free parking will be available at the Quackenbush Garage located at 25 Orange St. (Behind 677 Broadway) during the City of Albany’s Snow Emergency.

Zone C Residential Parking Permit Holders Please Be Aware:

When a snow emergency is declared by the City of Albany residents with a Zone C Residential Parking Permit may park for free at the Quackenbush Garage, starting on the day the snow emergency goes into effect until the day after the snow emergency ends.

  • To park for free at the Quackenbush Garage during a Snow Emergency you must have a current Zone C Residential Parking Permit with the City of Albany.
  • When parking at the Quackenbush Garage, parkers must take a ticket from the gate when they enter the garage.
  • Once you have parked your vehicle in the garage please take your ticket to our customer service office to be validated.
  • We will need to confirm your last name and plate with the city’s Zone C Residential Parking Permit list before validating you ticket.
  • Please be aware that we can only validate one ticket per last name and plate number.
  • We ask that all Zone C Residential Parking Permit holders park on levels 3, 4 or 5 (based on availability).
