Reduced Parking Availability at Lot 3 Starting on 6/16

Please be aware that beginning on Sunday, June 16th, there will be a reduced number of parking spaces available at Parking Lot 3 due to construction taking place in the parking lot. The work taking place in Lot 3 will be ongoing through late August 2024 and is for the installation of DC Fast EV charging stations.

During construction, parkers will not be able to utilize the parking spaces in Lot 3 that run along Washington Avenue. We ask that all parkers please move their vehicles from these spaces before 8:00am on Sunday 6/16. Any vehicles left in these spaces after this time will be subject to ticketing and towing.

These new EV chargers, which will be similar to the charging stations located within ParkAlbany’s Quackenbush Garage, are being installed as part of an ongoing partnership between the Albany Parking Authority and the New York Power Authority’s EVolve NY program.

We ask that parkers please be aware of the construction taking place within Lot 3. Additional parking for Central Avenue Monthly Permit holders is available at the nearby Parking Lot 4, as well as all our other Central Avenue parking lots.
