Albany Parking Authority announces the expansion of the mobile payment app, now available citywide.
Last year, we introduced our test program with pay-by-phone and pay-by-plate technology. After a successful test phase along State Street between Eagle and Broadway, we are excited to announce the launch of the new meters and the ParkAlbany App citywide. This will allow users to pay for parking on the go with their smartphone.
Available to download on the App Store and on Google Play.

Free Parking After 5

The Albany Parking Authority has teamed up with the Downtown Albany BID to offer free street parking starting at 5 p.m. on weeknights and garage parking all weekend at the Riverfront and Green-Hudson Garages (except for special events). It’s never been easier to come to downtown Albany and enjoy the nightlife, featuring some of the area's best restaurants and entertainment venues.
