Heavy Traffic and Increased Parking Usage in Downtown Albany between 10/25/2024 – 10/27/2024

Please be aware that starting on Friday 10/25/2024 through Sunday 10/27/2024, there will be heavy traffic and increased parking usage throughout Downtown Albany due to a number of large events taking place, including 3 Nights of Phish Concerts taking place at the MVP Arena.

Because of the number of guests attending this and other events taking place during this time period, we anticipate longer than normal lines at the entry/exits at all of our downtown parking facilities; the Green-Hudson Garage, the Riverfront Garage, the Quackenbush Garage, and the Quackenbush Parking Lot. We anticipate that the Green-Hudson Garage and Quackenbush Parking Lot will reach capacity in the afternoon on Friday 10/25/2024 and remain busy throughout the weekend.

During these dates, ParkAlbany will have special event parking rates in effect at all 3 of our parking garage locations, and payment will be required upon entering the garages. Please note that Monthly Parking Pass and Permit holders will still have normal access to their monthly parking location using their parking credentials.

Friday October 25th

  • Green-Hudson Garage
  • Event Parking in Effect From: 7:00am-11:59pm
  • Event Parking Rate: $30.00
  • Riverfront & Quackenbush Garages
  • Event Parking in Effect From: 7:00am-11:59pm
  • Event Parking Rate: $20.00
  • Quackenbush Parking Lot
  • Daily Rate in Effect From: 7:00am-11:59pm

Saturday October 26th

  • Green-Hudson Garage
  • Event Parking in Effect From: 7:00am-11:59pm
  • Event Parking Rate: $30.00
  • Riverfront & Quackenbush Garages
  • Event Parking in Effect From: 7:00am-11:59pm
  • Event Parking Rate: $20.00

PARKING RESTRICTIONS:

Friday, October 25th at 4:00pm until Sunday, October 27th at 11:00pm

Parking Restrictions:

Beaver Street (Both Sides) from South Pearl Street to Green Street for APD Public Safety.

Hudson Avenue (Both Sides) from Green Street to South Pearl Street for APD Public Safety.

Market Street (Both Sides) from South Pearl Street to the rear of the MVP Arena for APD Public Safety.

South Pearl Street (Both Sides) from Beaver Street to Market Street for APD Public Safety.

While event parking rates are in effect, credit card payment will be required to enter these parking locations. Next day parking rates go into effect at 12:00am. Vehicles that do not exit a parking location prior to 12:00am will be required to pay the next day(s) parking rate when exiting that parking location.
