Park Once On This Island
In this coming-of-age one-act musical, Daniel, a wealthy boy from one side of the island, is saved by a peasant girl Ti Moune who quickly falls in love with him. Unbeknownst to Ti Moune, the pompous gods who preside over the island make a bet with one another over which is stronger, love or death—the stakes being Ti Moune’s life.
