Charge your Electric Vehicle at any Albany Parking Authority Garage!
Looking for a quick recharge? Electric Vehicle (“EV”) Charging stations are available for public use at all 3 of our Downtown Albany, NY parking garages.
Please note that our EV charging stations are reserved for vehicles that are actively charging. As a courtesy, we ask that once your charging session is complete that you please move your vehicle to a non-charging space and that vehicles are not parked at a charger for more than 8 hours.
DC Fast EV Charging Locations *NEW*
Quackenbush Garage:
- Located at 25 Orange St. between Broadway & Water St.
- Features 4 DC Fast EV charging spaces (1 350kw & 3 150kW) on the 1st parking level.
Payment for charging at a DC Fast Charging Station my be made at the physical charging station or through the Electrify America app. Please be aware that all Albany Parking Authority / ParkAlbany garage locations are cashless. Level 2 EV Charging Locations
Green-Hudson Garage:
- Located at 45 Hudson Ave. at the corner of Hudson Ave. & Green St.
- Features 5 EV charging spaces (4 standard & 1 handicap) on the 1st parking level by the Green St. entrance.
Riverfront Garage:
- Located at 2 Columbia St. between Broadway & Water St.
- Features 5 EV charging spaces (4 standard & 1 handicap) on the 2nd parking level.
Quackenbush Garage:
- Located at 25 Orange St. between Broadway & Water St.
- Features 9 EV charging spaces (8 standard & 1 handicap) on the 2nd parking level.
Level 2 EV ChargingPricing
There is a .15 cent per Kilowatt Hour (KwH) usage fee for all EV changing stations located at an Albany Parking Authority garage.
How to Charge Your Vehicle at a Level 2 EV Charging Station
All Level 2 EV charging stations at Albany Parking Authority facilities require the use of the EV Connect App, which is available as a free download for both iOS and Android devices.
