Please be advised of the following temporary parking restrictions and road closures beginning in Albany, NY between Monday 01/15/2024 and Sunday 01/21/2024
***Martin Luther King Event***
Beginning on Monday, January 15th the following will have parking restrictions and road closures.
Monday, January 15th at 8:00am until 2:00pm
Parking Restrictions:
Madison Avenue (Both Sides) from Eagle Street to North Swan Street.
Park Avenue and Myrtle Avenue (Both Sides) from NYS museum walkway west to South Swan Street
South Swan Street (Both Sides) from Myrtle Avenue south to Lincoln Park exit roadway from pool
Monday, January 15th at 9:00am until 2:00pm
Road Closures:
Madison Avenue between South Swan Street to Eagle Street
Monday, January 15th at 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Road Closures:
Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd between Morton Avenue and Park Avenue.
Park Avenue between Eagle Street and South Swan Street.
South Swan Street between Park Avenue and Myrtle Avenue
***Roadways will reopen as soon as the Martin Luther King march and event at Martin Luther King is cleared. Not all closures will remain in place for the entire time period mentioned above***

Walter Street (Both Sides) from North Second Street to #31 for AWD
Second Avenue (Both Sides) from O’Connell Street west to #294 for AWD.
Friday, January 19th at 9:00am until 12:00pm
Parking Restrictions:
Delaware Avenue (West Side) from St. James Place south to the end of the church for funeral vehicles
St. James Place (South Side) from Summit Avenue to Delaware Place for funeral vehicles.
Friday, January 19th at 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Parking Restrictions:
194 Lancaster Street (South Side) west of Dove Street for a move
Friday, January 19th at 4:00pm until Saturday, January 20th at 11:00am
Parking Restrictions:
Jay Street (North Side) from south Swan Street west to driveway for funeral vehicles
Lancaster Street (South Side) from South Swan Street west to end of church for funeral vehicles
South Swan Street (West Side) from Jay Street to Lancaster Street for funeral vehicles
Saturday, January 20th at 8:00am until 2:00pm
Parking Restrictions:
337 Madison Avenue (North Side) west of South Swan Street for a move
Saturday, January 20th at 10:00am until 6:00pm
Parking Restrictions:
74 North Pearl Street (West Side) south of Columbia Street for a move
