2024 Fourth of July Restrictions and Road Closures

Please be advised of the following temporary parking restrictions and road closures in Albany, NY for the 2024 Fourth of July:
July 4th from 5:00am until 11:59pm
Parking Restrictions:
Bleeker Street (South Side) from Phillip Place to Eagle Street.
Elm Street (North Side) from Eagle Street to Phillip Street.
Lincoln Park (All Roads) between Delaware Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard. *This includes the roadway adjacent to TOAST school, tennis courts, basketball courts and spray pool. *
Madison Place (North Side) from Eagle Street to Phillip Street.
Madison Avenue (Both Sides) from South Swan Street to Eagle Street.
North Hawk Street (East and West Side) from Washington Avenue to Elk Street.
Phillip Street (East Side) from Madison Avenue to Warren Street.
State Street (Both Sides) from South Swan Street to Eagle Street.
Washington Avenue (North Side) from Eagle Street to South Swan Street.
Washington Avenue (North Side) from South Swan Street west to 111 Washington Avenue.
Washington Avenue (South Side) from South Swan Street east to opposite North Hawk Street.
Thursday, July 4th at 5:00am until Friday, July 5th at 9:00am
Road Closures:
All upper Lincoln Park roadways between Delaware Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Bleeker Place (All Sides) between Phillip Street and Eagle Street
Elm Street (All Sides) between Eagle Street and Grand Street
Madison Place (All Sides) between Eagle Street and Phillip Street
Madison Avenue (All Sides) between South Swan Street and Eagle Street
Myrtle Avenue (All Sides) between Eagle Street and Grand Street
Park Street (All Sides) between Lancaster Street and State Street
Phillip Street (All Sides) between Madison Avenue and Myrtle Avenue
State Street (All Sides) between South Swan Street and Eagle Street
Wilbur Street (All Sides) between Phillip Street and Grand Street
*Additional closures may be necessary based upon traffic volumes and delays. APD will be on site throughout the event to assist motorists with their exit from this event. Message boards will also be in place with motorist information. *
*CDTA will have several buses available for use for those who choose not to bring their vehicle to the event. Buses will stage on Washington Avenue in the area of the NYS Capital. CDTA will have staff on site to assist selecting the correct bus. *
